From Nate:
Lets say you want to know the answer to 8 x 8? (or any N x N)
Well, if you know that 7 x 7 = 49 (or any ((N-1) x (N-1))
you can just add (7 + 8) + 49 = 64 = 8 x 8 (or use any ((N-1) + N)
We tried it for lots of N's & It works!
Nate, you blew our minds when you announced that you had figured out a pattern in numbers one day when riding in the car!

Nakadomari students visit Cranford
Today, students from Sensei Yonezuka's hometown Nakadomari, Japan visited Cranford and were recognized as an official "sister city" relationship. Nate and Ben joined in the Town Hall ceremony and met the students. The Cranford judo students received gifts of bamboo fans and wind chimes decorated with pictures from their Amori Nebuta summer festival. The chimes and fans are hanging in our kitchen and each time we hear them it will always remind us of this awesome experience!
