Blue-ddha
Mom got colored bubbles for the boys and they were beautiful.

They also were a huge mess and left the boys and their clothes and the deck varying shades of blue and green. The worst hit was our Buddha statue.

The speckled Buddha bothered Ben’s aesthetic sensibility so he took it into his own hands to complete the job.

Now we have a Blue-ddha!

Dear Nate,
Mom and Dad worry for you because you are so very hard on yourself ... often down, sullen, sour, pensive, gruff, vexed, gloomy, cynical, surly, dismissive, cross, stormy, solemn, serious, etc. etc.
Mom and Dad have similar personality traits.
And yet - we cannot be hard on you - for being hard on yourself. This only makes matters worse.
This may be Mother Nature's joke on parents everywhere ... perhaps we can learn together how to laugh at it.
