1 week of soccer camp!

Finally, Nate, you were able to oppose someone your your own age. Unfortunately this kids was 1 year younger and 20lbs heavier. He was from Brighton Beach, Brooklyn and his coach was a world champion from the country of Georgia in the former Soviet Union. He was a tough fighter and left you with a bruise under your right eye to remember him by. Still, you fought hard and received a silver medal for the experience. We are very proud of you!!!

Scary No More

Growing up Mom was always terrified of the flying monkeys from the Wizard of Oz. When the boys were going to watch the movie for the first time, Mom prepared them for seeing these creatures. At their first appearance in the movie, the boys started laughing hysterically that anyone could be afraid of such fake looking things. I guess the movie technology that the boys are used to has made the monkeys comic relief instead of nightmare inducing horror...although Mom still doesn't like them.
