Summer Activities 2016

Mayor of Elizabeth NJ presented Ben & teammates trophies for their 2nd place finish in the Elizabeth inner-city summer basketball league. Ben you said your best memory was scoring baskets during the summer games.

Ben & best pal David Brothers Jr.

Lacrosse camp in Bedminster NJ with Coach Brothers.
July 4th holiday baseball tournament winners Cranford Blue and Cranford Gold teams. Nate, you hit a home run!
Sandy Hook for the afternoon.

Almost every morning in the month of July, you guys played in the old fashioned wooden bat league in Warninanco Park. Lots of green grass and shady trees.  No parents. No coaches. Just kids from all over Union County playing baseball together in their own league.

Nate & pals Connor and Rosario in their 5th summer of flag rugby together.
Ben, you played basketball in the Linden PAL league and also at the George Washington School league in Elizabeth. It was great to see you make so many new friends from nearby Linden. You practiced behind an old factory in Linden complete with broken glass on the court!
Ben, you walloped several into the grass this summer!

Ben and neighborhood pals Jake, Willy, Danny, Ethan and Alec (and Evan and Ryan) formed a summer baseball team.

Nate and Cranford 12U Blue pals Shawn, Christian, Nicky (not here) and Shawn's little sister Erin joined together on a team.
With Sparky Lyle at the Somerset Patriots game.

Last regular season game (a win over South Orange Maplewood) in the Memorial Field Little League Complex. With that, 7 years of little league baseball in Cranford comes to an end! Remember this? and this?
Nate, on July 28th 2016 on Grall Field you became New Providence Green League Champions! Cranford over Summit! Nate, you hit a Home Run in the final game and also in the semi-final game the night before. This night was actually your very last little league game ever.

Warinanco Park summer baseball awards. Regular season and playoff champions! 5 happy weeks of summertime baseball :-)

Ben, you got Minor League MVP and Nate, you got the Major League Hitting Award. So proud and thankful to the Union County Baseball Association.
Golf Camp with Coach Brian
